The applicant’s complaints under Article 6 § 1 and Article 8 of the Convention concerning his constitutional right to enjoy free access to the coastline and the alleged failure of the national authorities to enforce domestic court judgments ordering the demolition of illegal constructions on beaches which were found to prevent the public’s access to the shoreline were communicated to the Turkish Government (“the Government”). They submitted observations on the admissibility and merits. The observations were forwarded to the applicant, who was invited to submit his own observations.
